Every year we’re excited about the prospects of new families joining Hilltop Montessori School as the school comes to life through our students, staff and families. By choosing Hilltop and a Montessori education we believe your child will receive an education far greater than just “learning” but rather an education for life to meet the challenges here and ahead.
We encourage enrolling your child as young as possible to take full advantage of the crucial sensitive periods of learning which begin in the Toddler Program, ages 18 - 36 months before entering the Children's House Program, age 3-kindergarten and set the stage for the full Hilltop experience through grade 8. However, we welcome applicants and students at any age and for any program. Many of our students come for our outstanding Middle School Program in grades 7 and 8, and many others become Hilltop students at the Elementary level after a few years in local public schools.
Our new Toddler Program is designed for children 18 to 36 months, with 3 - 5 day / full and half day options. The Children's House Program is a five-day, three-year program beginning at age 3 and continuing through kindergarten. Our Elementary programs consist of the Lower Elementary, for ages 6 through 9 and Upper Elementary, for ages 9 through 12. Our Middle School program serves ages 12 through 14. Generally, applicants will be given priority in the following order: faculty/staff children, siblings of currently enrolled families, siblings of alumni, the number of students at the target grade level, and gender balance. The Hilltop Montessori School offers before and after care programs for students age 3 through 9 and after school enrichment programs for 6 through 12-year-old students.
We encourage interested parents to visit the school and tour the facilities. You may contact the admissions office by email or by phone, 802.257.0500, ext 101 to schedule a visit or receive a brochure.
Thank you for considering Hilltop Montessori School. We look forward to meeting you and your child(ren)!
